Swim Lessons

Ever wondered where group swimming lessons started? At the YMCA! Since 1909, the YMCA has been teaching people of all ages and abilities to swim. Come learn where it all began -- the YMCA.

Adult Swim Lessons (Group lessons for beginners and above)

(Check for availability during summer months due to high volume of activity)

Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. - 10:50 a.m.
It's never too late to learn to swim! Experienced instructors guide adults ages 18 & up in learning to swim a relaxed and fun environment. Call to reserve your spot. 229-436-0531
Cost: $50/month for members | $80/month for Future members

Itty-Bitty Swim Lessons

Age 6 months to 12 months | Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 10:25 a.m. and Monday and Wednesday 5:00 p.m. to 5:25 p.m.

Age 13 months to 2 years | Tuesday and Thursday 10:30 a.m. to 10:55 a.m. and Monday and Wednesday 5:00 p.m. to 5:25 p.m.

Youth Group Lessons

Age 3-5 | Tuesday and Thursday 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
Age 6-12 | Tuesday and Thursday 6:15 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Ages 13-17 | Tuesday and Thursday 7:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.

Group lessons are available for children ages 3 to 17 years. Groups consist of 5-7 children of similar ages. Students in group lessons will receive eight 45-minute lessons.
Cost: $50/6 lessons for YMCA members | $80/6 lessons for Future members

Semi-private Lessons

Semi-private lessons are for families who have two children who can take lessons together. Choose between eight 25-minute lessons or four 50-minute lessons.
Cost: $90/child for YMCA members | $120/child for Future members.

Private Lessons

Private one-on-one lessons are available for children and adults. Choose between eight 25-minute lessons or four 50-minute lessons.
Cost: $100 for YMCA members | $130 for Future members

Note: Swim lessons take place year-round in the main facility indoor pool, except for some seasonal afternoon classes during Summer months (June, July, August) which are held at the Sports Park Outdoor facility on 4508 Gillionville Rd.
