President/CEO
Jane McCall is the President and CEO and has been at the shelter since 1991. Jane obtained her Bachelors of Animal Science & Masters of Animal Science from Iowa State University. In 2004, she became a SAWA Certified Animal Welfare Administrator (CAWA).  humanejane@dbqhumane.org
 

Dr. Naomi Sprank
Shelter Veterinarian 
Naomi is the full time on-site Veterinarian for the DRHS.  Naomi was the Kennel Manager prior to attending Iowa State University's Veterinary School so she understands "herd health" and how things are different in the shelter world than in private practice.  She was joined by a full time certified Veterinary Technician, Allysa. Vet@dbqhumane.org
 

Pete Murphy
Director of Operations
Pete oversees animal care here at the shelter, and is also our Cruelty Investigator and Certified Dog Trainer. He has two dogs, Shadow and Jeb, and a cat that he adopted from the shelter. He is a graduate of the National K-9 School for Dog Trainers, Columbus, Ohio.

Tara Miller
Assistant Director of Operations
Tara handles the many requests we receive from the community to bring out our PAWmobile and conduct mobile adoptions. She has adopted Jada, a sweet little beagle-pomeranian mix and Kelso, an australian shepherd-border collie.

Courtney Neenan
Community Outreach Coordinator
Courtney coordinates our volunteers and manages our humane education programs, including classroom presentations, tours, Humane Heroes and our Kids & Critters Camp.

Amanda Dolter
Marketing Director
Amanda handles marketing, P.R. and media relations. Amanda graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Cinema. She was the Communications Editor at the local River Museum & Aquarium for five years prior to joining the Humane Society.

Nick Gleason
Mall Manager
You'll typically find Nick in the front at the Kennedy Mall Adoption Center keeping things running smoothly. He rejoined the staff after serving with the National Guard in Egypt. He adopted a beagle named Sadie and a basset hound named Maxwell.

Pam Oster
Administrative Coordinator
Pam handles all the finances at the Dubuque Regional Humane Society. Pam has a Miniature Schnauzer she adopted from the DRHS, Willy, and 2 other Miniature Schnauzers.
