Personal Training

Like you, Personal Trainers come in a variety of shapes and sizes with different backgrounds and experience. Our trainers can personalize workouts based on your lifestyle—from working professionals to athletes to new moms and more.

Included with your Y membership is the Coaching Connection program-an opportunity to become comfortable in your YMCA by meeting with a fitness professional. We’ll assess your goals and needs, and support your path to a healthy lifestyle.

All Fitness Center Staff are CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) certified and hold various other health and fitness certifications. We are confident our experienced staff will provide you with a safe, effective exercise program.

Carol Clay is a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor through the American Council of Exercise (ACE) and NETA Certified Senior Fitness Instructor. She is a YMCA Certified Fitness Specialist, Personal Fitness Director, Strength Trainer and Advanced Fitness Instructor. Carol has designed programs for all age groups and fitness levels from the deconditioned to the athlete as well as those recovering from an injury, surgery or those having special medical concerns or limitations. Carol enjoys running, strength training and spending time with her family.

Fitness Center

Our Fitness Center has two spacious well kept rooms and is packed with all the latest cardio and strength training equipment. Whether you prefer running on a treadmill, cycling beside a friend, reading while on an elliptical trainer, lifting free weights or using strength training equipment, you can achieve your goals at the Y. It is a very friendly environment with qualified staff on hand who are willing to help anybody with questions.

Membership includes unlimited use of state-of-the-art fitness center!
