Exit Stage Left: A Variety Tribute!

Katie Northlich hosts this evening of great solo work. Katie performs, along with Cheryl King, Shawn Williams, Kelly Kinsella, Darian Dauchan, and James Judd.

Cheryl King is exiting NYC's beloved Stage Left Studio for the next stop on her adventure. On its last Saturday night, join National Monologue Champion and one of Stage Left Studio's premiere season performers Katie Northlich as she hosts and performs in an evening of fabulous acts in the spirit of bidding this fabulous theatre adieu!

Katie Northlich: Katie Northlich is a Four Time National Monologue Slam Champion and her solo shows Character Forum: A Thesis, Panel, The Panic Diaries and Divine Chaos have played to critical acclaim in New York City, including a run at the Cherry Lane Theatre. Her play "Two Of Them, Looking" just finished its NYC premiere and she recently wrote and hosted a pilot for CBS.

Shawn Williams: Shawn Williams is a Seven Time Champion of the Manhattan Monologue Slam. He is currently revising his one man show, Shape Shifter, which he plants to open in NYC in the fall of 2015.

Kelly Kinsella: Kelly Kinsella has written and performed in four original solo shows produced by soloNOVA, the NY International Fringe Festival, Upright Citizens Brigade and Ars Nova, as well presented at Regional theatres and college campuses on the east coast. She occasionally does standup in NYC and LA and was selected last year to present a new work with Women in Comedy Festival in Boston.

Darian Dauchan: Darian Dauchan is an award winning solo performer, actor, writer, and poet who has appeared on both Broadway (Twentieth Century starring Alec Baldwin and Anne Heche) and Off Broadway theatre(Jean Cocteau Rep., Classical Theatre of Harlem). TV credits include Law and Order and Nickelodeon's Bet the House, as Darian the "SoundFX" Guy.

James Judd: James Judd is a monologist from San Francisco now residing in New York City. He is a former member of The Groundlings in Los Angeles. His stories can be heard regularly on NPR’s nationally syndicated “Snap Judgment” or downloaded at His critically acclaimed, award-winning, one-man, autobiographical play 7 SINS has been produced in (west to east) Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver (twice), Regina, Winnipeg, London (Ontario – twice), Hamilton, Toronto, New York (Rochester and Off-Broadway at 59E59th), Concord (N.H.), Ogonquit (Maine), Washington, D.C., Orlando (twice), Cape Cod, Grand Bahama, Roatan (Honduras), the 2008 Edinburgh Festival, and Celebrity Cruises (twice).

Cheryl King: Cheryl King is the creator and producing director of Stage Left Studio, in NYC, was resident acting coach at All My Children from 2007-2010, and is a playwright, director and actor. She teaches two weekly playwriting workshops, and has directed over 35 plays and solo shows, including two Drama Desk nominees. She performed her second solo show, Grapefruit, by Sally Lambert, for nearly two years. She is a writer for New York Theater Experience and authors a blog called pagetostageblog. Cheryl is a member of the Dramatist’s Guild, and a board member of League of Independent Theatre, New York.
